La Bastide de l'Oliveraie

Pros: I loved the atmosphère of a bastide on.a hill.yet walking distance from the Croisette. The room was very comfortable, quiet with a hillside view. The great hammam and sauna facilities were a huge plus as was the roof top jacuzzi. Thank you to the Bastide staff!

Pros: A lovely welcome from Tatiana who on arrival has kindly upgraded our room FOC. She also recommended a beautiful local restaurant La Jardin which was amazing. Our room was a great size with a small kitchenette if needed. Pool was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. A perfect location within walking distance into the centre but far enough to not be in the hub!! Will definitely return one day. Thank you.

Beautiful, realy relaxing and pleasant place to stay

Pros: Lovely property in a beautiful garden. I had a spacious room with a small kitchenette and a balcony, everyone was very helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed my stay.

Cons: I would love to have a hair conditioner! Breakfast was a little bit on a basic side, but still much better than the most French hotels I stayed in.

Lovely hotel in a quiet and convenient location.

Pros: Good location and a good price for Cannes. We chose it because it had parking and we could walk into town.

Cons: We generally liked the property but found the staff a bit unfriendly. Everything was efficient but we weren’t made to feel welcome which is a shame as this is a nice hotel and a lot of thought has obviously gone into making guests comfortable in terms of the facilities. Guests with mobility issues should be aware that if planning to walk from the hotel it is up a steep slope from town. Once in the hotel it’s fine.

Good central location for day trips by car or train, and great amenities.

Pros: Our room had a small kitchen, so we were able to prepare and enjoy breakfast and lunch on our lovely private balcony. I had a wonderful massage at the spa with a very good therapist. We loved the rooftop hot tub, and enjoyed it every afternoon, after busy mornings of sightseeing. It's in a quiet residential neighbourhood, so very peaceful. Special thanks to Tatiana, for recommending great restaurants, and giving us tips on how to get there, and where to park for free. Loved the resident cats!!!

Cons: Our fridge didn't work when we arrived, which meant that we couldn't unpack until it was fixed. The cupboard doors were poorly installed, and quite painful if you didn't open them just the right way. And they wanted to charge us for a couple of extra coffee pods, which we found offensive, given the cost of the room.

Pros: Thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Staff & Hotel was first class. Did struggle with wifi at times. Booked for next year as it was so fantastic. Tatiana & staff were amazing

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful setting peaceful and just what we needed .our hire car wouldn’t start and the staff stepped up immediately without asking 10/10

Would stay again

Pros: The size and the facilities in the room were excellent. Very clean. We loved the spa as well, which was included in the stay. We had breakfast only 1 day and the spread was very good including high quality teas. Cheese was missing though. The chacuterie was also very good and well priced. Overall very satisfied. 10 min walk to the riveria, 25 min to the old town, but there is a busstop 300 meters outside the hotel.

Cons: Maybe some towel hooks in the bathroom. We were welcomed so nicely by the lady at reception. But when we checked out, the other lady, didn't even ask us about our stay, just gave us the bill to pay. Not a complaint, just a minor gesture that felt uncomfortable.

Great staff, location and rooms well equipped

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early but they let us use the spa facilities to freshen up after our flight. The view from our room was great.

Superb

Pros: Excellent hotel. Room was top quality with a superb bathroom, bed and balcony. Facilities were excellent. Poor was clean with a beautiful view over the area. We loved the location - a little outside of the main city giving it a rural feel!

Cons: The hill walk every day! Great fitness though
