Maison Carla Rosa Cannes

Pros: Alain has created an exceptional property and his welcome was warm and attentive - we could sense his passion for Maison Carla Rosa, which was beyond merely business acumen. In addition, there was complimentary wine on ice on arrival, plus soft drinks, together with an awesome array of fruits and berries. The private pool sparkles amid the manicured gardens, making this an oasis close to the hyper stimulation of Cannes seafront. The place is immaculate and extremely well appointed with a comfy sofa in the lounge/diner/kitchen area. The daily servicing gives the apartment concept the feeling of a hotel experience.

Cons: The one drawback and it was a major disappointment was the size of the bed, which was a small double in the junior suite. There would be just enough room for a large double. It's faultless in every other respect.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Fabulous stay!

Pros: Lovely apartment. Very well kept, clean and had everything we needed / well equipped kitchen etc. Location is great and walkable to the beach, many restaurants and shops. Convenient parking just across the road. Pool was lovely and we relaxed there a little. Our apartment had a little garden Witt sun loungers - lovely. Kids enjoyed it too. Alain was very welcoming and helpful. Clearly takes great pride in the apartments and had some lovely little touches with a fruit bowl, bottle of wine etc. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again no question.

Cons: It was all great. We had a great stay. If I had to comment on anything it’s that it’s is a very minimalist apartment which looks lovely, but perhaps lacked some storage / wardrobe space. It was all good however.

Better than similarly priced hotel alternatives, I’m sure - no regrets, would certainly return.

Pros: Charming, fresh property (two years since renovation), lovingly designed, especially the pool area, large terrace, peaceful, pleasant views. Warm, friendly people - Alain, who met me with the keys and showed me to the room; and the cheerful cleaning staff.

Cons: Lack of privacy on the terrace (the adjacent terraces are visually open to each other), and (relatedly) noise transfer between neighbours (the issue for us wasn’t hearing others, so much as feeling constrained outside late at night).

Pros: The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained and clean. It is super centrally located and the owners go above and beyond to accommodate you and make sure you have a pleasant stay. Love this place and highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best

Pros: Alain, our host, has gone to great lengths to ensure that everything a traveller wants is at their fingertips. Loved the property, location, amenities and service. Aesthetically superb.

The best stay I’ve had in Cannes!

Pros: The owner and the staff were amazing and couldn’t have done more for us. Hotel is stunning, really clean and lots of added extras like Rose and fruit on arrival and soft drinks included in the fridge. A shop/bakery and pizza shop are a 2 minute walk and the croisette just a short walk or taxi ride away.

Cons: More mirrors! Haha

Pros: A beautiful, peaceful, clean property with good access to main areas of Cannes and all amenities. Staff (Marie as a particular mention) couldn’t do enough to help. We would definitely go back.

We based ourselves here for 5 days and explored Cannes plus trained to Antibe, Nice and Monaco. It is a very quiet area

Pros: Loved both our room and the pool area. The outdoor seating on our balcony was amazing. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and champagne which was a nice touch.

Cons: It is very loud between the bedroom and the entry. You can hear people walking in the hallway and coming and going. Their is little sound proofing.

You have to stay here. Best property I’ve stayed at in a while. Beautifully styled, clean, every detail thought out. Ala

Pros: Rooms very clean. Beautiful linen and products provided in bathroom. Complimentary fruit and water and wine upon arrival lovely. The styling of the property has been well thought out. The property is about a 2 min walk to a supermarket, butcher and bakery which is so handy to have a few things in the apartment. The pool was very clean. 10/10
